Enjoy bushwalking in the area, as the cooler weather is settling in.
Try climbing to the top of MOUNT CAMPBELL, our local peak - the highest in the area culminating at 720M. In 1986, Mt Campbell track was opened officially to the public for the National Walks, after the land owners Claire and John Baines of Rockmount gave their consent for people to walk through their property. The climb will take you through a forest of ancient grass trees towards the top. The 360° degrees views from the summit are amazing! See the Range to the West and for many kilometres in all other directions of the Lockyer Valley. The walk is classified moderate.
